DiCanio got some reyt abuse when he came back with West Ham

This ^^^^^^ got stick soon as he stepped on pitch an hour before game.

It was 10 times worse when he got subbed during 2nd half with us leading 3-1.

Paulo Paulo what's the score?? :tango:

David Speedie was the 1st name that came into my head.

Michael Brown was also given a bit of stick

Ian Wright, always given stick and  normally scored, then returned for Hirsty's testimonial really won the crowd over, everybody wanted him to score that day, think it was Pressman and Chris Woods son who he just couldn't score past.

Clinton Morrison prior to signing for us always got a bit of stick, he to returned  it by putting the ball in our net on a regular basis, like Wright couldn't score when we wanted him too.

Mark Ward - West Ham

I remember West Ham playing at Hillsborough, probably 1986ish.  We had Megson and Shelton (I think) in midfield.  They had Ward, backed up by McAvennie.

That was a good old rough 80's game.

Guest Ferkorf

I remember Neil Ruddock getting some stick to the point he stuck 2 fingers up at the kop whilst defending a corner.

Lee Hughes, at Notts County although it was an away match. Must have been around 6 years ago give or take

A good 4.5k of us there that day and I can still hear the ringing in my ears now "lee hughes is a murderer" I've never heard one player get as much abuse as he did that day.

I bet when Ched / Billy come to fortress Hillsborough in September the abuse will reach new heights

David Seaman

Always got the England's number 2 chant when we had Chris Woods

Took it well though

He was at the kop end when Woods made a great save (unusual:wacko:) and the Kop started singing "Englands Number One". Seaman turned round, pointed at himself and mouthed "Who, me ?"

Does Colin count in this thread?

After all, he must attract more abuse than anyone else, player or manager.

So much so that international standard of measuring hatred of other teams' players and managers ought to be called the "W*rn*ck".
