18 and end of discussion

Most players that are going to make it in the game are playing regular first team football by 18. The fact that he can't get a start for our first team suggests that he's not there yet. That's not to say that he won't be in the future, but if someone waves millions in front of our noses we should seriously consider it because there's every chance that he might ever make the cut.

like I said before, if he didn't have his surname then he'd be getting 90% less coverage than what he is now.

It's a disgrace that our proud family name is associated with an overweight, poor footballer with delusions of grandeur.

I didn't realise you had legally adopted Suthy?

Every other club? Do they?  Even our local rivals have a player, Brooks, in the England squad and he is yet to play a League game for them and they have been playing as low as League 1 football.

Agree with this. Brooks is highly rated yet hasn't been playing for the pigs, even in League 1. They're farming him out to Chesterfield on loan for the start of next season- shouldn't we be doing the same with Hirst? See how he gets on in league 1 or 2 for a bit away from the pressure of everyone expecting him to do the business immediately for us ?
