Bloxwich Owl
Chelsea could be willing to loan talented right-back Ola Aina to Hull that could speed up Ahmed Elmohamady's transfer to Aston Villa. Steve Bruce is a keen admirer of the Egypt international and will be hoping to get a deal across the line before the start of the season.

He's well known in Scotland for lacking end product, carries the ball well enough but does little with it. His stats last season in the Scottish Premiership were unimpressive to say the least and I'll be highly surprised if he ever adds to his 6 minutes of international duty (which was pretty much just token "i better call up a 'gers player" from strachan). I wouldn't want Barrie McKay anywhere near the squad, he's not good enough. Ryan Fraser was amuch better player when he came to Bournemouth, but it still took him a couple of seasons to adapt and become the good english premier league winger he is now. I don't expect anything similar from McKay, he'll probablyjust sink into the forest reserves and move to league one in 2 years time. Lets see when the season starts

The Night-Owl
Just now, Geoffrey said: What about Chris Gunter. You haven't mentioned him for at least half an hour. That's because he's a quality Welsh international, with plenty of energy and one of the best full backs in the division, and he's got a £1million release clause. A couple of Championship clubs (Middlesbrough, Villa and Leeds) are interested along with Swansea, we really should be looking at someone like that. Also Jackson Irvine wouldn't break the bank either. There are some affordable quality players around that wouldn't cost around several million or more.
