DielnaFromDistance
Don't know what to think but if changed.... Who next? And to be honest looking at the posts here, no one else can think of an answer either.
joelswfc
Slavisa Jokanovic would be the ideal option I think, but that's probably unrealistic. It would probably be someone else from abroad that has never managed in the Championship, but if we do that we may as well stick with Carlos. TheGiantOwl
It'll be Carlos. Love him or hate him he's took us to a place we didn't expect to be with players like may on the pitch. He said in an after match interview "WE will be back" that alone tells me his desire is to stay and go the extra mile.
Notts Owl
I still think he should be given a 3rd season, however, he seriously needs to rethink his tactics. this was not lost last night, this was lost on Sunday. After that game I made a comment that CC had played a dangerous game playing for a draw and was negged over and over. We needed a 1 or 2 goal lead so we could play our game last night. Follow that with what can only be described as questionable team selection last night and that is why we lost. Winnal must be wondering what he has to do when big Dave gets the nod ahead of him. FF was not fully fit and Rhodes should have started with Fessi the impact sub. Oh hindsight is great, but we move on and we have a new Derby to look forward too. DC has some big decisions to make, a lot of dead wood needs to go, (sorry Dave and Fessi) and we need some animals at the back and in the middle. The strikers we have are good enough their supply is miles away. Edited May 18, 2017 by Zlin Owl

Mid Wicket
Jokanovic? from a manager that likes a strong defence to a manager that doesn't play with one. At least Winall will get on in front of Dave
Gilles De Bilde
Carlos won't be there at the start of season, hopefully we can attract a proven championship winning manager. We are now a good club to go to for a manager wanting to get up in to the premiership, so we should be able to get someone big in.

Owlsmac
Carlos to stay for me, consistency is what we need, just look what Brighton have done this season with hughton they were knocking on the door for a few years

casbahowl
13 managers in 10 years prior to Carlos speaks for itself. Give him one more chance , this club is well capable of doing a' Brighton ' and the relegated sides if you include Boro certainly don't worry me . Take a few weeks to recharge, get over the disappointment and come back stronger than ever ........ Game on !
Bassetts Allsorts
Brighton have an identity and style of play which they've stuck to. Carlos abandoned his this season and it's like starting from scratch again next season. I'm on the fence at the minute but I certainly wouldn't say we are emulating what Brighton have achieved. steelcityowlsfan
Why replace a manager that has gotten us to the play offs 2 seasons running? Ok we haven't gone up but some tweaks to the squad and a change in tactics we will be challenging again next season. As has been said, it took Brighton a few seasons to get it right, why change now? I'm hurting like the rest of you, but no need to get rid of Carlos now. We could well end up undoing all the hard work and slip down the table with a different manager. There is nobody available that could do a better job. Surely you must see this?

But if we succeed next season at the 3rd attempt we've exactly emulated Brightons achievement. Whether he stays or goes is only one man's decision but my personal preference is to give him one more season.

Next season we should be going for automatic promotion but with three strong teams coming down and three ambitious teams coming up plus the normal contenders the Championship is going to be just as hard next season.. Possibly a tinker with the back room staff is what's needed to bring in a few ideas but we must keep Carlos.

Although I just can't see the link between us and Brighton. After their play-off defeat last season you'd struggle to find anyone not tipping them for promotion for the following season... can the same be said for us? Brighton made subtle additions to their squad. Would one or two additions to our current squad make us top 2 challenges?
