David1867 Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 If he decides to stay or gets offered a new contract then he really needs to sort his head out, some strange decisions have cost us, as has an unbalanced team. On on the other hand we have got a very good squad of players and it might not be a bad thing for a new manager to take over where everyone is given a fresh start, new ideas and we might hit another level. How can anybody look at those tactics, substitutions and performance today and over the course of the season and want more of that next season which is what you'll get? We're no closer to automatics a year on and the football is dreadful, he's still making the same errors, not adapted his style or learned from glaringly obvious mistakes which we repeat over and over and he clearly doesn't know his first XI after 2 years. We've wasted a ton of money supposedly strengthening in the wrong areas: but in truth non of the signings have significantly improved us on last season and there doesn't seem to be any kind of strategy or overall direction coming together. Half the squad is crocked/deadwood on expensive wages. He's wasted a year of everybody's time, energy and money and deserves to face the consequences, the same with any other manager in the league - no room for sentimentality.
