Yes, thought he'd have been in the last squad.

Useless with the ball at his feet and ruined when faced with pace. Not sure he's a Carlos type defender.

If we sign him it's because we would have failed to go up and if we don't go up Carlos will leave anyways .

Don't think they would.

They had them as players.

No chance. Like a big redwood. Keiron Lee made him look like a right plant pot earlier in the season.

If if we get promoted, I'd target 3 players. Harry Maguire on a permanent deal, and both Tammy Abraham and Alexander-Arnold on season long loans.

I've been saying for a while now, we should bring Maguire home.

A few players I would go for

Maguire at Hull

Cairney at Fulham

Barkley at Leeds on loan from Swansea

Friend at Boro

Ince at Derby

Christie at Derby

Asombalonga at Forest

Jota at Brentford

Hoolahan at Norwich

Pritchard at Norwich

Obviously, we won't sign that many, and maybe none from my list

Middlesbrough have been defensively good despite being relegated, their problem has been scoring goals.

cheeky bid for Daniel Ayala?

If we in the championship next season then he's definitely 1 we should be looking at i think. Been solid for Bristol and chipped in with a good few goals too.

how about believing we will be in the premiership instead of scouting for failure..positivity please

Yep, and let's put in a bid for Stones at the same time.

Our Flint - Stones CB partnership could form the bedrock of our Premier League survival bid.

Would rather go for Kyle Bartley

Not sure he's all that at defending. He's a big threat at set plays, but defensively he can be a bit of a liability

Flint,  Hanley not good enough especially if we go up.

Maguire has improved massively this season and would be a good buy if Hull are relegated but what 10million?

If we go up, we'll be shopping abroad. That's what all those overseas scouting trips were about

Not too sure myself. All of our overseas buys came last season, and they've all arguably flopped.

We did sign Sasso this season from abroad but that's it

It seems we've been watching players whom we would never have been able to attract in the championship, there can only be one reason for that. You can get a lot more for your money on the continent, and because we'd need so many new players, it would make sense to look abroad. Only a handful of our current players could cope in the top flight

Imagine how much someone like a Mawson, Maguire or Gibson now they have a bit of premier league experience would cost. We will be shopping abroad I would imagine unless we are thinking of spending 20 million on a centre half.
