So. Off to Spain for some specialist treatment.  Don't we have specialists here?

Anyway/ A few days of San Miguel and ham and cheese toasties on the beech and he'll be good as new before we know it.

How will spending a few days in a tree help him recover?

I'd say Forestieri is even better in that role.  He's a classic number ten.

I prefer him out on the left, Hoopers link play is different class, Forestieri is some times a little too selfish playing in a central role, out wide his delivery is perfect for the likes of Rhodes

Dom Howson is a big Huddersfield fan so no doubt he will have tried his hardest to dig this one out and create a bit of negativity going in to the play offs, Big loss but not worried we have some fantastic strikers who can step in and do the job with one being a former Huddersfield hero

Is he really?

Makes Carlos' selection dilemma a bit easier, but he's still gotta choose 6 from:

Hutch
Bannan
Lee
Wallace

Reach

Fletch
FF

Rhodes

Who do you start? Cautious approach would be a 451 with FF and Rhodes both on the bench. But we might totally go for it and start all three strikers with Fernando on the left..

Must be a nightmare for Wagner to prepare for!

You suggesting Lee or Bannan playing behind the front man?

It's an option and last season there times I felt that is what we were crying out for.

But with the strikers we have available now I suspect it'll be a case of Rhodes/Fernando/Dave/Winnall coming in up top in a more traditional 4-4-2.

I think Lee maybe given the opportunity in a more advanced role. Reach could even play in it aswell. Think it does give Carlos the opportunity to play all his so called favourites, without having the tough decision of which of them to drop.

No need to shoehorn Hutch in, for now

agreed

don't understand people asking for hutch to come in for bannan, the latter has been in good form recently

Both have adaptability much lived by modern coaches.

Can't see Carlos changing the system at this stage though.

Hutch reverted to standing on the edge of our box when Wildsmith had the ball, same problems re-appearing

Use him to tighten up the game if needbe

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just Dom Howson spreading gloom as he always manages to put a negative slant on anything swfc in all of his articles in the Star. Somebody at the club should have a word with him. Meanwhile, James Shield on Sufc side of the star has managed to put a miraculously positive spin on every one of their six years in league one; in fact, I remember after one of their play off defeats he didn't even mention that they'd lost in the paper the next day.
