eddie1973 Posted May 1, 2017 Share Posted May 1, 2017 Whoever finishes 3rd will surely be away to Fulham on Saturday night (assuming 3rd and 4th placed teams are away first leg) Already three games in London that Sunday afternoon, two of them involve Man U and Liverpool, so police probably won't want another big away support in London if they can avoid it. Any fixture against Reading or Huddersfield will take place on the Sunday because we can only play either as a 4th v 5th match? So invariably the police won't need to interfere as they will only care about us playing Huddersfield on a Saturday teatime which can't happen anyway. That's my theory anyway The Met can cope with what would have SYP bricking themselves. A 12:00 KO should minimise potential for any clashes anyway. If it is Fulham though I'd rather it was on the Sunday - 5:30pm KO on the Saturday would make it a bit tight for the last train home. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure but I believe 3rd vs. 6th is the first game, so that would be Saturday, except we can't finish sixth so there's no way our first home game is on 13th May - if we finish 5th, we'd be playing 4th on Sunday May 14th at midday in Sheffield. Pretty sure the matches are always in order too - 3v6 followed by 4v5 - so your dates for the 'second leg' home game would be correct. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
