Coming soon from the Lane:

David Barnes says Lee Bullen smells of poo, Jostein Flo sticks a note to Andy Rhodes's back saying 'Kick Me' and Adrian Littlejohn flicks rubber bands at Chansiri's head.

Not even Kevin Gage's family are interested in what Kevin Gage says.

He was the idiot who said that the first half performance against Scunthorpe (0-0) was the best he'd ever seen from United.

lol

I think Brian Glanvilles job is safe.

I replied to one of his tweets in January when he was having a dig at us. Nothing abusive, just pointed out a bit of realism to him - he blocked me as a result, likes to dish it out but clearly can't take it.

One of those footballers that even fans of his own clubs would probably not recognise if they walked past him in the street, couldn't organise a p**s up in his own pub.

Anyway who is  Kevin Gage?

Probably the nation's most respected voices on football, his cultured play wowed audiences from Molineuz to the Maracana, from Spotlands to the San Siro, from Burnden Park to the Bernabeu. A young Dennis Bergkamp was asked in 1991 who his footballing idol was; the interviewer was expecting the usual Cruyff, Pele, Maradona, Garrincha. But no;

'Kevin Gage', came the response, as the earthbound Dutchman revealed that there had been no greater influence on his development than the bepermed full-back-cum-midfielder. In days ahead, room after room after room after room after room of reminiscence will hush as generations share their tales of those blonde locks, that wand of a foot, that harlequin amongst sackcloth, the unbound majesty of Kevin Gage.

Used to play for United. Was mediocre.
