Given the relative performances we've had against all the top seven this season it's hard to disagree with him really...

We could have battered them at St. James' with the chances we created, and we really should have battered them at home. A fair reflection of both games could have easily been along the lines of 5-1 to us on aggregate.

True but I wouldn't fancy playing a side who are quite capable of battering us 5-1 on aggregate if they turn up. None of the other are capable of that.

if Reading lose both their games they could drop from 3rd to 7th.

The points are so close that one slip could be fatal for any of the 5 teams.

After the heartbreaking final we had last year, it'd be amazing to right it this time.

Plus the big 150 !!!

Plus it would wee wee on the pigs celebrations !!!

Plus Chansiri promised it in 2 years

lol

No he didn't. He said it WOULD be nice if we were in the Prem for our 150th anniversary.

Shame Newcastle got 2nd place, if they were in the playoffs we'd have been quite confident facing them in the final or semi's...

Not me.Im glad they are out of the way.

We've played well against them the last twice however they have the quality to put teams to the sword if their opponents aren't on the pinnacle of their game as we were both times we played them.

I think the other 3 teams don't quite have the quality of Newcastle as the league table has shown over the course of this season.

I think the same, we've done em 3 times on the trot and never looked in trouble. Their game suits us, rather play them than say.. leeds or reading.

Though I think we can do Fulham or Hudds....but owt can happen, so not really fussed who

Yeah, imagine our promotion party in the city centre compared to theirs! Mind the gap!

I think that I am the only one who believes that Weeds will pip Fulham to the play offs!

I don't think Fulham will beat either Brentford or us but I do think that Leeds will beat the poor travellers Norwich and crap Wigan.

My play off semi predictions are Reading v Leeds (Reading win)

Us v Udders (we win)

Confident that we will be triumphant in the final.

So open this year. There isn't a Hull City-type proposition in the playoffs this season, a team loaded with prem players. All four will be established champ clubs. Hard to call.
