Getting pointlessly ahead of ourselves but..

Recommended Posts

More likely, it could be  a nice situation where we know that beating them actually AVOIDS them by keeping us 4th or 5th and them 6th. In which case, I think we should rest selectively, and try to beat them

(Again, all ahead of ourselves, I know)

Another bizarre thought... If we don't win next week, I think we actually want Fulham to WIN?

Much better chance of beating a safe Fulham on last day, than getting a point against a Fulham side that needs to win?

In these situations I reckon we'd be better off just playing to win seeing how other results pan out and that is that! None of this "acting god" rounduns.

Also I thought your post was going to be something like..  "getting pointlessly ahead of ourselves but... next year when we're 2-0 up away at Chelsea, do we bring Nuhiu on with 15 left or FF to scare Cahill even more"

Ideal scenario.

We're secure and can play a weakened side.

Fulham still need to win.

Our weakened side kick lumps out of Fulham and injure their better players.

Leeds then finish 7th.

I like this idea

Get Matias sent off after injuring Martin

Get McGugan sent off for injuring aluko

Get Buckley sent of for injuring Cairney

lol
