Wouldn't surprise me if Carlos leaves him on the bench Friday. I think FF will react very positively. He should be like a caged tiger when he finally gets unleashed. 2hoots Posted April 9, 2017 Share Posted April 9, 2017 I'd have to agree with that but if we'd not won that game from where we were when Semedo came on, there would have been only one place to lay the blame. It was a poor substitution that left us, from a comfortable position, hanging on for the last 15-20 minutes, and hardly getting out of our own half. For me it didn't work, we got away with it. I'm not one for getting on Managers or players backs but it was a bizarre thing to do, the whole mood of the game changed, stadium went a lot quieter as soon as he came on, there was 20 minutes left and it put us under pressure. I wasnn't bizzare, Wallace was playing in a central position, when he went off we had to fill that position FF can't play that role Semedo can and did. We won what's the problem.
