Not read through thread so apologies if duplicating, but why can we beat the mighty, unbeatable Toon, the club that would according to every pundit on telly go unbeaten all season and win this division at a canter, home and away and DESERVE to win both matches, yet the same squad lose to the likes of Brentford etc?

We have yet again battered them, they are a very ordinary side who will struggle when they go up (that's why they came down in the first place) yet the media seem to think that they are a huge club who deserve better.

Isn't that a description of Sheffield Wednesday?

In fairness, Fulham also came unstuck against Brentford recently. It's blindingly obvious to say, but "anyone can beat anyone on the day in this league!"

Newcastle came to play as did Norwich and look what happened to them. Teams like Burton, Ipswich et al don't and we struggle big time. I fully expect Warnock to have out number on Friday. He always does. It'll be a frustrating match. Brentford tbf played well but we deserved a point.
