Salmonbones
Would have been fitting for any Owl that long in the tooth to see Wednesday promoted back to the top flight first. Didn't know the guy personally, obviously he posted a lot on here and provocatively so most of the time, but sorry he never saw us get back up. As others have said, RIP. sheffield_dave
F*cking hell this has knocked my block off. At the end of the day you spend quite a long time reading and contributing to forums like Owlstalk over years and years. While you can claim to know very few people on here there are certainly usernames and personalities that stand out over such a long period, and Wolfmanjack was absolutely one of those. A poster I very often disagreed with but who I NEVER skipped past while scrolling through Owlstalk. RIP

I spoke to Carol last night and although still very tearful and in a state of shock one of the things she asked me about was the tributes that had been posted on owlstalk that she had been told about , she couldn't believe that there are so many wonderful words spoken about Jez .she doesn't use owlstalk or even the internet much so I told her that when she felt up to it I would take my tablet up and let her read all the fantastic comments from you all . Just wondered how long the thread will be pinned or available for her to read .

brucew
Ok , thanks , I'm not a frequent posted but a very frequent reader and wasn't sure how long threads are available , cheers. When Carol feels that she is able to read this topic I'm sure it will give her great comfort in this very sad time to read all the respectful comments . Ethel The Tree
I'm really saddened by this news I thought about adding my condolences yesterday, but decided to leave that to those of you out there who knew him better ... played a bunch of Neil Young records instead (obviously to his taste, judging by his various avatars) RIP fellow Owl

I'd known Jeremy for sometime having worked with him for around 8 years. He was kind, generous, and extremely funny and witty and he would often make me laugh, especially during the frequent banter we had with fellow Owls, Blades, Millers and Tykes at work. He was also a passionate Wednesday fan who would often tell me about one of his all time favourite players, Bronco Layne. I'll miss my friend, our constant Wednesday related texts and coming onto Owlstalk and having a good laugh at his posts. Rest in Peace Jeremy, aka Wolfmanjack. WAWAW. Really sorry to hear that RIP Jeremy Fly High Fellow Owl ;-(
