Rogers
Who was the guy that was always injured and rubbish when played?? Not Adams, was it Craig Armstrong. Was with us for about 3-4 seasons
Stoop
Paul Corry was pretty bad Im sure he must have won some competition in Ireland, with the prize a contract at a championship club
Rogers
Westwood was the worst player I've ever seen though, but Patrick Blondeau didn't make the greatest impression. That Blackburn away game!!!!
Rogers
I'm going 4-3-3, I challenge anyone to come up with a worse team of Wednesday players from 1985 onwards that played over 10 games. Brad Jones Patrick Blondeau (on reputation alone and performances - ex French defender of the year my arse) Ashley Westwood Guy Branston Chris Carr Chris Sedgewick Craig Armstrong Darren Potter D Graham Kim Olsen Jay Boothroyd what a team!! You could put half our current squad in this! Never before have I ever seen so much wastage as we have in this current Wednesday side. Is Jones? Rob Jones? I hope it isnt! Great leader Hard as nails. Put his head into everything - cant remember how many times he broke his nose and played a match with a bandage on his head. Excellent player for us. Mr. Chow
Don't agree with spurr at all we've had far worse defenders than him, bothroyd was crap but got shoved out wide most games which he can't help. Players don't purposely turn crap a lot of it is down to miss management, same for may too didn't suit our tactics under gray with us sitting too deep and defensive plus like bothroyd getting shoved out wide. Birley Owl 1867
We could easily field two teams of dross from the bast 15 years. Old Tidman / Chris Adamson Chris Carr / Ian Hendon Guy Branston / Michael Morrison Mark Reynolds / Danny Maddix Jon Beswerthick / Dan Jones Leon Knight / Simon Donnelly Steve Adams / Jimmy Smith Jon Bostock / Craig Armstrong Paul Smith / Richard Evans Kim Olsen / Mickael Antoine-Curier David Graham / Jon Shaw Honourable mentions for Robbie Mustoe and Dean Smith too
