bradowl
Just been announced... Ever the pessimist
Outrageous pricing. We will, deservedly, kop some flak for it. Also might mean a TV game of high importance will be in front of a reduced crowd.
The Regulator
Apparently Newcastle have only been allocated 2300 for this.

Dave78
Complete rip off even for members! I expected it to be £35 on the north like it was for members against Villa. I'm sure they said members save a tenner for cat A games but not this time.

Seems like they only wanted to select the Villa game.
bradowl
I was expecting a sell out for this game. 28,000 tops now with them prices plus its on sky.

I thought this - seems like only the Villa game, which is disappointing and they announced that discount with the membership details, to presumably soften the blow. nebneeb
Very surprising it isn't a £10 members discount game. Especially with it being on TV.
Road Runner
Its going to be the talk of talk sport later by looks of it. They also say we are paying Steven Fletcher 35k a week, shocking if true..

They maybe thinking about giving us more ticket . But don't see sag agreeing with that. Should Just give them all away end top and bottom.
uptheowls
Theyve done it completely wrong, we wont sell out or get anywhere near at these prices, Just give them the whole away end

The Regulator
My Newcastle supporting mate was hoping to get a ticket in the away end but probably won't be able to now. Having seen the prices he might be thinking twice about sitting on his hands in the south stand at £49.
Pod9
It's abit embarrassing that we are charging this much. I can understand that we need to make ends meet regarding FFP and all that but still...... Although I would take all the stick in the world if it meant us pushing for promotion every year. Id also be shocked if we only allocated 2200ish tickets as we've let all the highly followed teams have what they want more or less. Newcastle have fantastic Away support and would sell whatever we give them, even at £45+
Greengrass
Everything about this is wrong, if I did not have a ST no way would I pay on the gate at S6, why have Newcastle only been allocated 2300 ? From being a potential sellout looks like being around 28000.
