NIGEL Clough is facing a growing injury list for tomorrow’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

The hard earned point at Bristol City has added to the manager’s list of doubts.

He said: “We picked up a couple of knocks on Saturday. Ben Turner has a sore neck and Marvin Sordell has a sore ankle. There are one or two other little things as well.

“Michael Kightly we don’t think will make it tomorrow. Lucas Akins remains a doubt as well.”

The good news is that defender Damien McCrory should be back in contention after recovering from a hamstring problem.

Clough said: “Damien missed the Birmingham Senior Cup last week through illness so he hasn’t played for four or five weeks now but he is back available.”

John Brayford returned to the starting line up at Bristol but Clough doesn’t know if he can now play at Sheffield as well.

Clough said: “When they have played Saturday you hope to patch them up and get them back out there. John’s knee is sore after his first full game for a while. So we need to keep an eye on him as well.”

bobbar yeh forgot about that. I'd feel confident at 38 years old that I could skin that fanny let alone an on fire Fernando and Wallace.

Cliché time but first goal is all important tonight.

We get it, the floodgates will open.

They get it, it'll be a grind.
