The Owls vs Norwich. Official Matchday Thread.

Excellent pauli :-) normally would be happy with a draw against Norwich, got some real quality players in their team. However after getting beat in our last 2 games and with Fulham and Norwich closing the gap between us and them we really need the 3 points today.

Be tuff today, but we're at home and should have the ascendency.

A win would be great, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

Should be a decent crowd and good game - going for 1-1, but hopefully we'll sneak it 2-1.

As ever, Pauli.  Living in East Anglia, I can endorse the accuracy of all that you say about the budgie boys!:rolleyes:

Funny old game - last time I wrote in the OMDT I was asking whether we could possibly win 5 on the bounce................now I'm praying we don't lose 3 in a row!  Surely not!

Crucial month....crucial game.

SWFC 3 - 0 NCFC:  Bannan, Rhodes and Fessi.

Come on you pale blue and white pinstripe wizzards!

Today is the day we click!*

We'll hammer these lot and send them home with their tails between their legs. 3 or 4 goals today as we hit form.

Owlstalk tonight will be full of praise for Carlos and the team and we're all going to have a tip top weekend.

*or we'll be tepid first half, go for it second and end up nicking a 1-1

Funny as fek @pauli as usual. Having lived in Naaaaaaaaarigde for a number of years, you have nailed their very unique language. Here's a few others.

Pust - the two white things that hold up the crossbar.

Ruff - hopefully you have one on top of your house.

Spun - a piece of cutlery which exactly resembles a spoon.

Peral - the combustable fuel used in a car or tractor.

Fek Orfffff - a phrase used to disagree with another farmer over who has the best crop.

Shink Su - meaning "I believe that is correct", i,e, "Is that a traker?" "I shink su"

Happisburgh - a place on the Norfolk coast pronounced Haysborough.
