If Sasso doesn't walk this then it's time to close owlstalk.

Westwood - two cracking saves towards end. Couldn't do much for there goal. - 8

fox - looked a little off today. Bit shaky at times. - 5

Loovens - steady game, did well, couple of iffy moments. - 7

Sasso - phenomenal at both ends. Every set piece he was up for caused threats. Deserves his shirt. - 10

hunt - not a big fan, and looked vulnerable tonight again. Does when good cross and some people forget he isn't actually that good - 5

reach - haf a few runs, and made a few overlaps. Nothing seriously bad / good - 6

bannan - needs a rest, thought again he wasn't poor. To complicated and does too much - 5

hutch - as usual a good game, does what he has too. - 8

Wallace - Fitness seems to be better. Ran himself all over the pitch. Give it a good go - 7

winnal / Rhodes - made best of the little chance they got. But no service really - 6

Subs

FF - wanted to move the ball along, wanted to attack - 7

Jones - he doesn't get any better. He made a clearance, but I still don't want him on the pitch. - 5

fletcher - took the attack out of it. Not sure why he came on, offered nothing to note - 5

Reach for me, excellent throughout.

Bannan was poor first half but improved massively during second when he start to make runs forward instead of passing side ways.

Fox had a bit of a mare.

Forestieri was superb when he came on.

Westwood made some vital saves towards end.

Wallace was off pace most of game.

Sasso and Loovens were rocks as always.

Waaaaaay too stressful for my poor heart.

But three HUGE points.

Westy - 8  - great double save and commanding in air

Hunt - 7 - did ok at both ends, but still too many crosses in

Loovens - 6 - unusually twitchy tonight

Sasso - 10 - take a bow son. MAGNIFICENT. Best defender by far, and two beautifully taken goals. What a night. Delighted for him. Undroppable.

Fox - 5 - poor lad had 45 minutes from hell. That header started it, and it got worse. Shame cos he whipped two promising crosses over prior to his rick.

Wallace - 7.5 - decent all night. Fabulous corners back to his very best. Worked his tripe off.

Reach - 7.5 - great energy, and marauded down the left well after HT linking well with BB and FF

Hutch - 6 - bizarre he didn't go off after 30. Clearly badly injured. Could hardly walk after that. Very poor from him (brave but foolish) and poor that what was obvious from the stands wasn't seen by staff.

Bannan - 7.5 - one man midfield tonight (see above). Did his best but he was outnumbered all night. Better second half when Jones on, and linked well with left side, spreading balls to FF and Reach. Bit like last season second half.

Winnall - 5 - night to forget, quickly. Nothing.

Rhodes - 6 - not much better, but 90 minutes of effort.

FF - 8 - made a big difference. Great attacking presence AND BOY DID HE TRACK BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Slightly greedy, but guess that's yo be expected as he wanted to prove a point no doubt. We have found our left hand side, second half. Pudil nor Fox look good enough at LB, and Reavh-FF was excellent

Fletch - 6 - battled but rusty as hell.

Jones - 6.5 - noticed he was massively up for it. Liked his intensity, but wasn't great.

.....phew....can we have a comfortable 3-0 next time please.

@ holmowl. Yes I was amazed Hutch carried on. Clearly still suffering from the early injury.

Felt so bad for him. Cant imagine how much damage he did to himself from 30 to 65 minutes. Unprofessional on his part, and poor management from the staff.

He couldn't walk, let alone run. Imobile.

Definitely Reach. Only one who tried to make anything happen in an awful first half and was excellent at left back in the 2nd.

Sasso was solid enough and obviously showed what a threat he can be in the opposition box.

Loovens was also generally solid.

FF was our only creative spark. Needs to start the next game behind Rhodes.

The rest ranged from poor to atrocious.

Two things.

Sasso was our best defender by far tonight. He was tackling their LW, their RW, their strikers. He was winning headers. His distribution was crisp. His defending was 8 or 9 out of 10, and his two van Basten finishes were top drawer.

Hutch - I agree he was lousy, but he couldn't walk.
