Guest Arnold
Zola is a poor manager and getting rid of Rowett will prove to be a disaster. Edited February 11, 2017 by Arnold

First off, I don't remember Westwood having a save to make - and secondly, the chances they did have weren't really as clear-cut as some of the ones we missed anyway. One of the woodwork hits one was off our own player, one was a 25 yard shot from nothing and the other was their only real "chance" in the game as such, but that wasn't even as easy to score as Winnall's was at the beginning of the second half. Not saying Winnall's chance was easy to put away, but it was more clear-cut than any of B'ham's best chances. They might legitimately be able to claim that they could have scored one or two of their half-chances, but we could have scored one or two more of our half-chances as well - so that doesn't mean an awful lot. ChapSmurf
They had 58% of possession, 43% of total amount of shots and scored 0% of the goals. We had less possession at 42%, yet a higher number of shots at 57% and scored 100% of the goals. So let me summarise. We are clinical, they are not. We can defend. They can't. We got 3 pionts. They didn't. Here's some tissues Zola and now we move on to Blackburn on Tuesday.
pgmetcalf
I'm not very interested in propaganda. If we're right, they'll give up. If we are wrong, they'll be in London in a week!. (Battle of Britain movie) They gave up
sweetsheri
Seemed like a reversal to the 0-3 a few years back. We played better and they were ruthless. Last night was the reverse.
McRightSide
They had 1 good chance. One. And even that fell to the left foot of a right back with little of the goal to aim at. We had several. Winnall x 2 Someone with a head from a corner 3 x goals

Its desperate stuff from zola who has been a disastrous appointment they'd still be around the playoffs with rowett, If you lose 3-0 you've never had a good performance, taking positives away from a game like that is something a non league team would do after losing 3-0 in the cup at old trafford. adelphi1867
I remember when we Played Brum at home, about 15 years ago, when Bruce was their manager, we battered them for 90 mins and lost 3-0. They had 3 shots and won, so these things happen in football.

At Birmingham Nuhiu hit the bar at 1-1, they went up the other end and scored the winner. last night they hit the bar (clipped the top of the bar actually) and Winnall scored immediately. As someone has posted the ref was extremely lenient with them too.
latemodelchild
I love it when losing managers put us down. We scored 3 they scored none. We got 3 points they got none. We had more chances and we defended brilliantly. I hope his positives he takes from last night are consolation for a loss.
PortlandOwl
They didn't really have chances you'd expect to score from. Hutch hit the post, the full back hit the post with a good effort and a long range shot that struck the bar.
