Dagmeister
We looked better tonight than for a while IMO. Birmingham looked a considerably better team than Wigan but we were so much better going forward than for ages and it made a difference. Entertainment, three points and enhanced goal difference. Good game tonight for neutrals too.
McRightSide
Just now, markowl said: Sigh. Do you get extra points for scoring more goals? No. I'm trying to get to the bottom of why there was such an outpouring of negativity last week when the end result was 3 points both times. No one else seems to remember all the moaning last week. Well yes you do actually 0 goals = 1 point maximum

trevdi9
we played as we can play with the shackles off at times ,in patches we gave them to much which needs addressing but overall it was a great win , and some brilliant moments where we just carved them apart

It was whether you are prepared to "TRY" and go forward. Tonight we did "TRY" to go forward a lot more. We soaked up what they threw at us and when we attacked scored 3 goals...two of them peaches..
Jim
We passed the ball better tonight. Hutchinson didn't stand out as much tonight but his presence gives us an assurance that we lacked at Wigan last week.

marconi
Last week was not the way I want to see us play for the rest of the season, it was abysmal. Tonight was way better, not too many square balls along the back, not to many back passes from attacking positions.
Sgt Wednesday
Simple, many supporters only watch football for goals. I thought both performances were very similar, we did what we had to in both games. We approached both games differently but had the same affect, this is what SWFC supporters need to get their heads around. If we do get promoted we won't be going for it every game, the Wednesday support need to adapt.
cowl
We got the ball into the box a lot more today than what I can remember all season. That's the major difference, and it's enough for me to feel very encouraged by the positives from tonight. The crossing quality was sometimes missing, but twice, at least, it was perfect, and in Winnall and Rhodes we've now got two strikers who look to attack the ball. Bannofan
Markowl, you are making yourself look stupid . We didn't win ugly tonight, simple as that. More positivity , getting the ball forward, creating chances, resulting in 3 goals. Birmingham had a couple of good spells which we managed to cope with. I really haven't got a clue what you were watching.

As always 3 goals blinds some people from what actually happened. Which was the point of this thread.
