But they like them because they are funny on Radio Sheffield and are loveable losers. We have winners now, we have players that want to win. Bang on the money. Where negativity, misery and sarcasm is a way of life..just so long as we can make a joke out of it.

We didn't beat them as convincingly as Burton beat us. We're scruffing results with a tedious style that is such a contrast to last year. Nowhere near as much fun. BFR took us down playing good football and we forgave him because we could see what he was trying to do. At the moment we are just boring as fv ck which is a shame after last season. Of course it's great to win but if all football was ever going to be was like tonight I'd jack it in. It's like a George Graham team. Lets hope as we get to the business end of the season we'll start playing with more fluency. I think we'll need to to stay ahead of Derby.

Groundhopping Owl
I'm confident in asserting regardless of what team played Wigan tonight it wouldn't have been pretty, and plenty of teams in this league wouldn't have won tonight. The pitch was poor, we were missing key players and wigan's pressing and physicality meant it was always going to be a scrappy affair.

We still had Rhodes, Forestieri, Reach, Wallace and Bannan on the pitch and managed one shot on target. It was awful and we were lucky.
