@owlstalk
For those of you old and creaky enough to remember, what are your main memories of Chris Woods playing for Sheffield Wednesday? At the time he was England's number one and in my eyes an absolutely brilliant goalkeeper All the talk of him dropping the ball at Wembley is way too harsh IMO. OhForAnotherShez
a very good keeper. when 1 on 1, he would always advance towards the forward, but rarely commit himself to diving at his feet. He would ALWAYS however be in a balanced 'start position' to react to a shot.

Inspector Lestrade
Overall a very good goalie, unfortunately for him he made some high profile clangers.
Helen Waddle
"Old and creaky enough to remember"? Saucy young 'un! In my first season attending Wednesday games (I was 9) our keeper was Peter Springett. I recall us playing QPR and his brother Ron (who used to keep for us) was in their goal. Mr. Tom
In my memories of him - I was only about 10 at the time - his hands always look like Mickey Mouse's, comically massive in white gloves. Very good from crosses for the most part if I recall, liked a good punch clear. Not a dissimilar goalie to Westwood in many ways, though far less eccentric. Both brilliant shot-stoppers, CW a bit less keen to rush out, KW a bit less measured in his decision-making but often successful when he breaks position. Both a notable tendency to badly fluff one kick in 10. In a straight choice, both same age, I'd pick KW. GMOwl72
Good shot stopper. Unfortunately, as has been said, rightly or wrongly the one lasting memory for many will be his failure to stop Linegans header in extra time injury time.
Prince
Over priced average keeper who was very prone to a howler. The performance against the pigs was sickening but that was topped by the flapping at Wembley for Arsenal's winner. Still can't forgive him after all these years

BRINGBACKNILSSON
He was a brilliant keeper who unfortunately will be remembered for his mistake in the final.
