Best player on the pitch

Recommended Posts

Mooy, number 10.

Would fit into our team perfectly alongside Hutchinson. I'd make him our number 1 target in the summer, whether we are in this league, or the one above.

The Australian lad?

A few mentioned him in the summer only to be ridiculed that he wasn't good enough. Then Man City signed him from sister club Melbourne City.

Scores, Assists! Top player.

Yeah, he'd get boo'd immediately with his passing around, side to side and back.

Made the suggestion about him in the summer.

Watched him a lot in the A-League, decent player.

Huddersfield have worked the market very well given what they have to play with.

Not bad for an Aussie, ran the show in the 1st half, but we sorted that at half-time. Didn't realise he was only 26, looked about 50 and not

the slimmest either.

Only for them.

Thought he was average. Looked decent and tidy first half going sideways and backwards at a snail pace with our lack of pressing, but once we got at it second half the game passed him by.

Not sure he'd be as influential in a 2 man midfield for us. Wouldn't have anywhere near as much time on the ball and wouldn't get forward enough to play next to hutch IMO.

he ran the show first half but not so second when we upped our game, not sure he would fit into a high tempo team, good player all the same

He had the freedom of Hillsborough in that first half, Bannan or Hutchinson were not within 5 yards of him, second half we pressed higher and he went missing.

Looked as if he wanted to get off the pitch as soon as possible to me, his body language suggested he was freezing and wasn't that fussed about playing football.  Probably better suited to swigging Toohey's on Bondi Beach where it is warmer.
