Terrible translation.   Equipo means both team and equipment and it's translated it as equipment!

Anyway he's not played for two months and he's had offers from south America, Russia and China but he's looking at the English 2nd tier as there's more money in it.  Just rumours from English sources it says.

The Russian league is about as competitive as the Scottish premier league.

And more bent than Serie B!

He's at the back end of his career, maybe he can add something we lack. We could consider a contract to the end of the year and see if he still has something to offer. If he does we can sign him for another year.

I've got reservations, who's his agent? Doyen?

This season is effectively over, what is the point of shelling out a load of wages to someone who might not help our promotion push next year. Sign someone who has a future not a past.

I've no idea how good he is now, maybe he is still fantastic. Being let go part way through his last contract in an Arab league doesn't suggest he's too hot.

Clearly our reputation for paying fortunes to elderly 'well past their best' players has even reached Peru!

If we dont sign him then we could look at others from Peru such as Paddington bear who would be an improvement for us.

Paddington bear is Peruvian?

Saw him score a cracking goal recently for Lokomotiv Moscow.

He plays the Forestieri role so would expect him to be the softener for a FF exit

I really like this goal.  Can't get much more direct than that.

from wiki

Playing style[edit]

Farfán is considered as a fast forward or winger, and regarded less as a goal-scorer, but more as a creator and assister of goals.[3] His one-on-one dribbling ability, accurate corner kicks and passes contributes heavily to Schalke's goals, especially in the international arena.[12] Farfán is also known for his penalty kick and direct or indirect free kick ability.[13]

On 20 July 2015, after seven years at the club, Schalke confirmed that Farfán had joined Al Jazira Club for a reported fee of €6 million on a three-year deal, where he could earn up to €10 million a year.[8]

Farfán left the club on 19 October 2016, when his contract got terminated, as he had violated rules in his contract.[9]

Oh bugger. He'd never fit in.lol
