Fuzzy logics
Could be a decent option at the right price. However, I have serious concerns about his celebrations and he would need to seriously improve his pointing which is far too 'waggly'.

Winnall is more like Hooper, though of course, nowhere near as good Thank god winnall is not the same type of player as Joao
Plonk
I love how our fans don't want us to buy players until we sell. How do you know we aren't currently negotiating to get a few out. And if it doesn't happen it will cost Mr C. Not us.
rawowl
Include Mcgugan in the deal to replace Conor Hourihane who will probably go as well.

Or maybe they will invest it wisely in the next winnall or stones they do seem to be better at scouting in england than us

Elvin Parsnip
Maybe trying to force Middlesbrough into an early deal by showing interest in other strikers ?

Chilli
I mentioned in a previous thread about Hourihane that I'd heard we were in for both him and Winnall. It'll be interesting to see if owt comes of either.

Almost always managers won't sanction outs until they have their ins for obvious reasons - imagine we let those two go then don't get what we want or we are then held up to be forced to pay a kings ransome for some numpty just to get cover for that position. No mate think for sure we will be bringing somebody in before we ship out.
coe_22
This is the signing I wanted/want to happen! I reckon he would be quality for us.
BarnsleyOwl96
Very good finisher. We will create more chances with ff now settled and mcmanaman coming into the side and getting better. Hooper also creates a load of chances.
Lincs Owl
Yet another ex scunny striker. Steve McLean, Gary hooper. Cheaper to find out who scouts centre forwards for scunny. They've had loads decent forwards over years. We rarely find any. Back in the day they discovered Barry Thomas and Kevin Keegan. They keep finding them, selling them, and finding others. Billy sharp is another. Don't we scout school kids?
hodgybysea
Interesting sat with the Middlesbrough fans on Sunday discussing Rhodes, they want rid, they think he won't cut it in the Premiership. But as they pointed out would he be any good to us,as he has only played about 18 times in a year, and not many of them full games so how fit is he?.Would probably go on a crash course getting fit and then end up pulling a Hammy and being out for months. They were'nt that happy letting Adam Reach go with Downing just about finished,Boro told Downing he can go out on loan. They reckon Trarore who they paid 7 mil for is only poor,so not only our fans not happy with signings after all. I supposed that at least the Barnsley lad will be at full fitness for a big run in. gurujuan
The big question is, will we sign a player who will improve our starting eleven. It's OK, keep buying these back up players but for us to close the gap on the sides above, we need an injection of quality
davey_wells
I can see why he's been linked - looks a very similar kind of player to Rhodes - a poacher, a finisher... but one with a bit of power and good in the air too. Interesting

Ungrateful tvats, I'd have thought they'd have been ecstatic, getting £5m for Reach Steve Gibson must have been laughing all the way to the bank
