Guest addedtime
Rotherham for me. I've always had a soft spot for Barnsley for some daft reason.
roaminowl
Equally insignificant, I would say.
bradowl
Living in Rotherham its always been Rotherham though where I work at Ecclesfield there's a few Barnsley fans who I've always found ok.
Key
Rivals to who? Certainly not Wednesday.
stocksyuto
Both insignificant now but if i had to choose id say barnsley they are bigger than toy town and we have more recent history with them
The Hoppy Hopper
They both represent a chance to get three points as far as I'm concerned. No more no less. Sheffield United on the other hand - I love it when the lose.
bradowl
Without a doubt Barnsley are bigger club even with a stand that looks worse than our West stand. Rotherham are on par with Chesterfield and Doncaster.

Andrew_Owl
Rotherham but only because their fans really want a derby with us, Barnsley fans aren't too bothered. Edited December 17, 2016 by Andrew_Owl
Salmonbones
Can't say I have any feelings for either. It's one of those things, they come with hatred and you think, what's all that about? It's a one way thing for me. They hate us, we don't care about them.
aeroswfc
Rotherham United.
LiamK2292
Neither. Local derby? Yes Rivals? No I only class one team as "rivals" and that's the Blades.
mr moody
Personally, having lived in Rotherham all my life (have mercy) I have the rivalry from all my friends and peers. And my god are they crying tonight. We are and always will be their cup final, until next season. So for me they are a big rival. But toytown will be gone soon so feck em!! As for the dingles, think they want us more than we want them
Plonk
Neither. Think about this. Do you ever look to see how they have gone on? Does it bother you if they won or lost? About as interested in them as fleetwood

Owl 44
See Leeds United as rivals much more than Rotherham or Barnsley. Love to beat them and love it when they lose to anyone. Can't stand the fact that they keep winning at the moment.
mr moody
Thought they'd come unstuck today without their "goal machine"
