Personally I thought last night Westwood, Palmer, Lees,  Loovens, Hutch,  Lee,  Reach had good games rest didn't offer much.

However walking out 2 blokes behind me were going on about Kieron Lee offering nothing and that he's like a headless chicken I think they must have a football brain size of a Chickens but what do you think?

Player of the year so far for me

hahahaha ... absolutely quality is OT at times. It was only a few weeks ago when he was bang in form and scored a few goals, people were touting him for the PL and we where worried when rumors appeared from Sunderland. Now hes had a couple of games below his usual self and hes and headless chicken. Honestly i am sat here with tears streaming down my face laughing.

When will people learn...form is temporary class is permanent!!  I think the people how make comments like this as the kind of people who don't understand the full game of football and attend just for the entertainment side of things and to see a few goals.

It is physically impossible for players to play to 8 out 10 every week and maintain that. Prime example....Sammy H last night absolutely superb but is he going to play like that every game, no he inst!! He will be the next one, the next time he gets a yellow, red or is injured....it will be "liability" and "waste of a shirt"

Brilliant

I said last night that it didn't look like the Kieran Lee we usually see, didn't seem to influence the game how he has done across the last few seasons now. Not sure how comfortable he was with the system we played in last night but still will always be one of first names on team sheet. Just shows how far he has come as a player the fact that last night he didn't do anything wrong just not his usual high standard.

Ok, so Lee doesn't always dribble around eight defenders before back heeling the ball into the net, nor does he always beat the opposition goalkeeper with a well placed 70 yard lob just under crossbar. Whilst he was "quiet" by his standards last night, he broke up Barnsley's play quite a few times and supported the defence on loads of occasions. Sometimes, football ain't that pretty.

Lee is still the best midfielder in the division IMO.

I thought he went missing for a lot of the game but still looked the most capable going forward, especially in the second half.

He looked tired and was over to the touchline every 5mins to get a drink in the second half. I know he's been carrying a bit of an injury so maybe he's not 100%.

I was by no means subscribing to the 'headless chicken' theory - he's far from it, I'd have him in my team every week, just thought at times last night he looked as though he was struggling. Give the lad a break! The amount of ground he covers each game he's probably due a rest! Hope he scores on Saturday.

He's not even the best midfielder at Wednesday

Regardless of the personnel, i think last night with Bannan being subbed and Kieron Lee slightly (and i stress slightly) off his usual faultless level, may signal the end of the 'automatic selection' of certain players and may herald a slight change in who plays where and who now gets in. I'm also obviously thinking about Abdi when fit.

At one time there would have been meltdown if any of the 'regulars' were left out. I'm not so sure now and think we may start to see one or two gradual changes.

Not a criticism of any players by the way, most of who have been immense in the main.

Kieron Lee is everything I would want to be if I were a footballer. He is consistently good and sometimes exemplary. The likes of Bannan, Forestieri and Hutchinson can be better than Lee at times but Lee is the better player over the length of a season. Lee is the best player in the club and  the first name on the team sheet.
