Rodger Wylde II
Just reading "singing section" makes me cringe.

Agreed in the areas where any atmosphere is created in the ground, , ie parts of the Kop and west end of north stand , fans stand anyway.

The closest I've been to experiencing a standing area is at away matches where it's pretty much an offence to sit. Those games are amazing atmospheres. Feel sorry for you young uns , never to experience the greatest footballing atmosphere. Wembley was great , but imagine that without the chuffing seats in the way , place would have been on the richter scale. There again , it was. Prendo's boots
From next season have West Upper just for home "singers" and bung the away fans behind the goal...there'll be a proper noise then in there...and keep away fans in for 10 mins after the game for that stand to clear...simple!! Palace do it and you never hear of any bother. Its pathetic Yet you watch premiership games and just about every club has banners on sticks. Most recently seen clubs like Watford and Boro and everybody knows about Liverpool where they have always had banners on the Kop and now it seems also stand every home match. Mr_positiveowl
I never quite understand why people slate the idea of a singing section i'm more embarrased how quiet the place is at times than the idea of a group of people in one area helping create an atmospere
MilanTheMan
As soon as the law changes, and it will sooner or later, they need to make T1 safe standing and the back section of the Kop down to the top walkway
