Team for Ipswich

Recommended Posts

P7. W1 D2 L4 GF2. GA8 Ipswich away

If ever there was a game where we can play a creative midfield without a CDM, and please two wingers instead of one tucking inside, this is it. I think it will overrun Ipswich and similar teams.

Westy

Hunt

Lees

Hutch

Pudil

FF or Reach

Bannan

Lee

Reach or FF

Hooper

Fletcher

Agree but I think it's been proven Jones is needed in the middle id replace him for bannan personally to start with and see how the first half plays out

Jones looks good so far in aways

W2

D2 (though losing at Brentford when taken off)

L1

But as yet thee is definitely no case for homes

Won v a poor QPR

Losing 0-2 to Bristol when taken off

Get back to Bannan Lee or even Abdi Lee at home. Dont need a Jones.

I know we're ever so fond of the 4-4-2, but I'd like to see a 4-3-3 for a change.

Westwood (hopefully although i'm not sure if still injured)

Hunt

Lees

Hutch

Pudil

Abdi

Bannan

Reach

FF

Fletcher

Hooper (Although if he plays like he did at Derby maybe not)

Just an idea.

Welcome Joe.

You will fit in perfectly. You want us to drop our Player of the Season/hearbeat of the team for Saturday.

I just didn't think Hooper was up to scratch against Derby. Might have just been an off day. Maybe that handball pissed him off and put him off his game.

Hopefully he'll be back on form Saturday as this is the first time i've even seen him knocked like that. Kind of reminded me of Forestieri after the "incident"

Thanks for the welcome too haha

So you would leave out Lee?  Our best player!

You'd think that would be the safe option but it isn't quite working, plus I think Reach should be in on current form probably for bannan in that side.

Fair point, just thinking about games like Brighton and Leeds, don't want another performance like that, personally I'd love to bury the game by half time and then let Abdi play so he can gradually get better, personally I think he's abit scared of cocking up hence why he only makes 5 yard passes
