There's a reason Carlos didn't bid for Hanley in the summer and it wasn't Newcastle. It was Sam Hutchison. The guy just continues to impress me whenever he plays centre back.

It has certainly worked out well so far. Sam has easily been our best defender this season, in my opinion.

Who is better?

Dunk and Klose for starters

Would help if I didn't rely on autocorrect to spell his name for me. My bad.

Lees has been disappointing at times this season but Sam has done brilliantly.

Lees, Hanley, Dunk, Flint and that's just a few CBs

Hutch is fine as a CB but better as the holding midfield and the reason we have struggled against some teams is we've not had that protection in front, it was the one gripe I have about CC this summer especially with Loovens dropping off last few seasons.

however thought Sasso did well against Bristol.

No way is Flint better than Sam. The others are debatable.

Hutch got to many bookings as a cm as he was always having to lunge into tackles. Think he reads the game better at cb as it was were he learnt his trade.

Can't imagine Lee would have walked around Hutch as easy as he walked around Flint for that injury time winner!

Might have got a pen tho......

Lees and Dunk definitely, not Hanley or Flint,

Replace those 2 with Tommy Elphick
