Sheffield Wednesday quiz #2

Recommended Posts

Thanks Neal.

Still proud of my Burton O'Brien answer for number 1 despite Kivo also knowing.

My record of at least one unique and one incorrect answer in every game continues.

Got away with a few guesses there. One even was unique (France playing at Hillsborough)

Pleased that I remembered Joao was African born

Hi Neal. You gave Tamworth a correct 1 point scoring answer for Juan Cobian, but he didnt play 25 games for us - he was nowhere near that, only 9 league games.

Balls. Good catch, LGH.

When scored properly, Tamworth now ends up sandwiched between Suthy and S11. His final score becomes 282,240,000.

Wait, Neal entered his own quiz?

Surely you had to check the questions had answers first?

This is highly suspect.

My answers were submitted to your mum during a break in wild lovemaking just before I published the quiz.

I played it very safe and chose fairly obvious answers that I either knew (or was pretty certain) would be correct. Downside is, they tend to be more commonly picked.

I have a few questions lined up for the next one.

I'll try not to make it as hard as Neal did (that's what she said).

Well yeah but 'knowing the answer was right' when you get a significant penalty for being wrong is kind of a big advantage.

Also I've got 14 for a correct answer and 8 for an incorrect one. I know that's the rules you put down, but isn't it normally the number of entrants for an incorrect answer?

Bloody mods.

By the by, there will be no cutting of corners like this in my quiz. I'm going to rule with an iron fist, if you get it wrong there will be no mercy, I'm going to make sure your awfulness is shown, etc.

1 million for an incorrect answer.

2 million for answers Poric considers boring.

Score reset to 0 for amusing cricket references.

Seriously, I tried it the normal way, but 23 for an incorrect answer had Onge and Asteener scoring hundreds of billions.

If you make excel fall over it should be an automatic DQ

What is the advantage of multiplying the scores over just adding them? How different are the results?

This is it. If you're so bad that you break the spreadsheet you're automatically declared dreadful.

So should finishing behind the Aussie. Which I'd like to point out you have on the last two quizzes.
