Last day for anyone wanting to take part.

@alanharper, @areNOTwhatTHEYseem WHERE ARE YOU?....LETS BE AVIN YOU!

Cheers for the prod, @Whitechapel Owl; I hadn't realised there was a separate quiz section now!

Mods: any chance my Wednesday Catchphrase thread could be moved to this new section, in case anyone wants to add to it?

Congratulations to @Beast of Boulogne who wins with a very impressive 44 points and 7 unique answers.

Everybody managed at least 1 unique answer and there were some great ones. Here is a quick rundown from Richard:

1. Name a player with at least 200 appearances for the club

Lots of good answers here, 14 unique ones. Kevin Pressman was the one to avoid being chosen 4 times.

2. Name a player that has represented his country whilst playing for Wednesday

Lots to choose from again, couldn't accept Liam Palmer as a correct as I clarified further down in the thread I was looking for full internationals for the senior side. 18 unique answers, Roy Coyle and Billy Felton were particularly impressive. Petter Rudi was the most popular answer being chosen 3 times

3. Name a former manager without the letter A in his first or surname. (permanent managers only)

Only 4 possible answers to this one from the 32 managers we've had. Robert Brown from 1920 was the one to go for here and only @kenny chose him. Derek Dooley with 5 points was the next best with Chris Turner 11 and Peter Shreeve(s) 16 scoring lots of points.

4. Name a player that has scored for and against Wednesday. (Own goals don't count)

Lots to pick from again with 11 unique answers, John Sissons, Simon Stainrod and Efan Ekoku all terrific answers. 7 of you chose the badge kissing turncoat Alan Quinn and 5 picked Clinton Morrison who has probably scored more goals against us than for us.

5. Name a nationality of a current or former player

Remember, the question here was about nationality not country of birth or country represented so some of you answered different nationalities for the same player which is fine. Nothing high scoring here and 12 unique answers. Nobody answered English, French or Portuguese.

6. Name a goalkeeper with at least 10 first team appearances

Another low scoring round. Paul Evans only managed 7 games for the first team so unfortunately this was incorrect. The late Pavel Srnicek was chosen 3 times. Nobody chose Keiren Westwood or Chris Woods.

7. Name a player that has won the Official Wednesday player of the year award (1969 onwards)

Graham Coughlan, Lee Chapman and Mick Prendergast some of the unique choices. Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu was answered 5 times and unfortunately Chris Kirkland never won it.

8. Name a season in which Wednesday finished in the top half of their division.

Some very impressive knowledge here going all the way back to the 1900/01 season. The memorable 1996/97 season was the most popular being chosen 6 times.

9. Name a John or a David that has played for Wednesday

David Johnson the man who ticks both boxes (and doesn't come with a bonus point despite one request) was answered 9 times in a surprisingly high scoring round. Only 6 unique answers with David Herbert, John Ryan, David Bennett, John Lyall, John Hickton and David Ford all being the winners. Nobody was brave enough to go for David Hirst.

10. Name one of the former loan players from the pictures below

Some really tough ones here, 13 of the 16 were identified though. Only Enoch Showunmi, Joe Bennett and Graham Barrett who had a loan spell with us from Coventry in 2005 (nope I'd never heard of him either) were the ones missed. Very well done if you knew any of those.

Graham Kavanagh was chosen 9 times and Chris Eagles 5.
