Andrew_Owl
People need to stop thinking that their opinion is right and everyone else's is invalid. Good luck to the guy if it is true, he never really seemed too bothered about being a footballer, life and happiness means completely different things to us all. The flying pig
Every player is worth what the buyin club are willing to pay. Somehow we seem to turn decent prospects into rejects . #antonio

swfcjack27
Good luck Jez. Always enjoyed your blistering pace and heavy touch which I prefer to think opened up space rather than was down to a pure lack of talent. Strange way to go but all the best
Mickjj
Many years ago I remember Peter Knowles (Cyril's brother) who was a top forward for Wolves doing the same thing.

That lovely chap in Cincinnatti who went round asking people if they were Muslim, let the 'converted' walk on unmolested and then stabbed the ones who said they weren't. Was HE a racist or an idiot or both? Or is the observation as usual just from one perspective?

East Yorks Owl
Good luck to Jeremy. I wouldn't have thought the life of a pro footballer would rest too easily alongside a longing for religion. He was no doubt earning a salary most of us could only dream of, but he's walked away to a life that for him offers a greater calling. If that's his journey I respect him for his decision.
