While I agree it's been a bit overblown,  having witnessed it first hand I'll not be taking either of my kids to an away game from now on. Just costing the club future supporters and hurting the club they apparently love.

"You're not taking your kids. To an away game again" so how in the world can it be over blown. Your reaction is almost certainly how you view it. so it is pathetic and an unnecessary slur on our club and specifically our terrific away supporters.

Typical comment from a socialist.

Permissive, liberal, lefty attitude. The sort that helps to dismantle society

I'm not one but probably a bit unfair on a lot that are.

Thanks for the insult, really helping matters.

We do have a terrific away support. Should they damage opposition stadiums, harass staff and block off gangways for other supporters though?

The damage wasn't massive so calling for criminal proceedings as some have is an over the top reaction, it is over blown. I also feel my children would be scared in that environment and would be put off football and Wednesday for years if I took them into it, so I won't be.

Come on, this isn't hard to understand. We have excellent away support but some of them could maybe try not being complete two hats when they've had a shandy.

The damage wasn't massive ???

it was criminal damage. If one of those thugs booted your car but only made a small dent would that matter ?

I despair sometimes, I really do.

Corbyn and McConnell would be proud of the class warriors

Though might frown at the anti IRA song

If he came back the next day, said "Sorry I was drunk, had a bad day" then paid for the damage and sorted it all out I'd not go near the police. If he laughed about it and posted a video on youtube and never came back I would do.

The club need to ban people, they need reprimanding and we should issue a public apology and pay for the repairs.

I'd like to question Tango's role in this video.

Is this the example 'Wednesday's Number 1 Fan' should be setting?

His behaviour has been questioned before, here's video evidence that he's part of the problem.

And why many clubs ban him from entering.

It's not an insult or remotely meant as one. I'm pointing out you think the episode was serious enough for you to not take your kids away again so surely you're point it's "overblown" is disputed by you.

So Corbyn is now promoting ripping off hoardings at football matches? I don't recall him saying that anywhere.

He doesnt actively promote anti-semitism either ;-)

I was stood next to about 8 complete loons, who were definitely on more than beer... Spent most of the second half singing songs like "F*** off Hooper you fat c***"

Loved it when he scored.

I believe we have a hardcore of approx. 2,000, give or take, who go away regardless of distance, ko time, tv coverage etc etc. Amongst any travelling group of that number, there'll always be some loons. Always.

Especially with football, in this country.

I don't understand the surprise it causes.

Easily resolved, you ban any travelling fan who misbehaves. If they cause criminal damage ban them from attending matches at Hillsborough and send a list of fans on the banned list to other clubs. Eventually you will remove the problem fans and the rest will still be able to travel.

I don't understand the surprise it causes.

If you don't maybe you should have a close look at yourself. You may be encouraging the bad behaviour by accepting it.

Not at all. Anybody who doesn't expect an element of daft, drunken behaviour amongst 2,000 away fans, at an away match is naïve in the extreme.

It's up to the authorities in that stadium to deal with them, not us.

I don't condemn or condone them, because I've been drunk & daft in the past.

I've yet to meet anybody in life, who hasn't.
