Scenes at half time

Recommended Posts

tell you what is worrying is the fact that so many of you would be happy to see teenagers getting done by police (grasses) for having a laugh with there pals, even more so from a generation that spent more time fighting in the terraces and on the pitch!

Pot kettle and all that!!!

Criminal damage at the end of the day so don't call it a laugh. Don't pull the old grass thing either it's scum like this that rob your house and smash up your car for a laugh. I would be very happy to see all of these taught a lesson by the courts.

Im sorry but robbing houses and smashing up cars is different to jumping up and down and pulling away a bit of plastic, im not condoning it one bit but my god we are all going OTT on here.

Tricky one when it comes to young kids, concourses and half time fan excitement in the current era of supporting your team away.

Better to stay in the stands and take them to toilets during the match if i am being honest - a little common sense says certain fixtures & the half time frenzy maybe a little too much for younger supporters, not least a 5:30pm Saturday kick off.

So the idiots win then?

Once this is seen as OK then what else do the idiots do for "A Laugh"??

No Excuses at all as i have said previously hope they all get a knock on the door one morning.

Some of us are just seeing the end game - not for these lads but for the Club. Slap on the wrists potentially, reduced allocations, greater police presence at games etc

How we would like it if tickets could only be picked up from designated spots 2 hours before kick off with an escort to the ground like Cardiff fans have had to endure

There would be a lot of moaning that's for sure

And many of these louts, (I hope no one calls them supporters, because they are not) are the ones who complain about facilities, or lack thereof. My instant reaction is to say that the away allocation for Wednesday should be LOWERED instantly at any ground. The unfortunate part of this is that it reflects so badly on the club and its genuine supporters.

Yes, I am one of the generation who in the 'olden days' saw the fighting on the pitch and terraces, but I did not approve of it then, and I do not approve of it now. It is vandalism and little short of Urban Terrorism. There is NO EXCUSE for it.

It seems a couple of the dicks have found their way into this thread.

I'll fight for free speech and the right to an opinion on here until I'm banned, but defending the indefensible is for tail tugging tuggers.

To a person, you bring shame on our club. If banned for life, you won't be missed

There's a similar discussion going on on twitter and I'm getting dogs abuse from a group of 16-18 year old lads who clearly enjoy going to away games and joining in with all this at half time. Good luck to them if they are going to have a good time and support the team but if they can't see that some of their actions are having negative effects on other supports and our club they need to do some growing up. Sadly we've got a bit of a culture in this country now where a lot of people seem to care less and less about people other than themselves.

Think I'm just getting reyt old as can't for the life of me understand how that's a laugh???

Jumping up & down singing yep good lads.

Throwing beer about bizarre as why buy it if you can't drink it?

Ripping hoardings off no idea what that's all about at all.

I'd have understood more if they would have got behind counter and started serving there own ale as at least I could see the point to it.

Where did i say that?

Since when have football grounds been sterile environments?

Concourses vary in designs throughout this league, some a tighter on average than others. Overly crowded areas always bring some form  of issue to consider for a person with younger children when making decisions. I said people need to apply common sense.

The current trend of frantic scenes seen isn't new, but as grown in number and occurrences in the last few seasons.

If you want to sterilize this area take away the reason's to congregate at half time, as they will always be some issue which people will not like.

On top of this, there were a couple of idiots dishing out abuse to people in cars at the roundabout down the hill from St Andrews as they attempted to cross it. This included racist abuse, and while they were a little 'wild-eyed' let's say, there is absolutely no excuse.

it's embarrassing and shameful.

Eh not fussed.  No one got hurt, so let's chalk it up to some good clean fun.

Lets worry about soulless antiseptic match day experiences when we hit the Premier League.

Typical comment from a socialist.

Permissive, liberal, lefty attitude. The sort that helps to dismantle society
