Swiss Toni
I may be wrong but in the one yesterday when he was in the box wasn't there a defender between him and the goal hence why he didn't shoot straight away? I was sat in the South so it really needed someone behind that action to tell me, that's just how it appeared.

Guest
I bought he was man of the match today - everywhere. Maybe I was imagining it, but one thing that really stuck out to me is he seemed to have a bit more fire in his belly. I've often thought he was a bit too nice, missing that edge that makes good players great but today he just seemed pissed off and a bit more assertive - couple of tasty challenges too. He has always got the energy but today I felt he added a bit more aggression to his game today and it worked.
modboy
really annoyed me when he had the goal gaping at him in the last minute and he passed, put it in the net ffs

He's my favorite player by a mile and happy to see so many positive references, although shocked to see on the Bristol team thread another user commented he was like a headless chicken and he'd drop in favor of Jones. Your comments, far more aligned to my thinking, dynamic, athletic, great passer, tracker and tackler - if he scored a few more he'd be a prem player and worth a fortune. EighteenSixty7
He was much more effective when he played higher up the pitch towards the end. Agree about the shooting though. Edited September 11, 2016 by EighteenSixty7

Some players just hit the ball really hard and acurately. Others don't, no matter how much they practice.
FlyingOwl
He's a very good finisher when he actually has the bottle. However, if he did shoot more he'd turn into a 10+ goal a season centre mid. Add that to his current qualities...& he doesn't play for Wednesday much longer. Holmowl
Just rewatched the Wigan match extended highlights. For anyone thinking Lee should be left out, watch again. Take a look at Lee's position for all the key moments. He is pure box to box, often the highest up the field when we attack. He played the final pass in:- FF's goal. Wallace's second half miss. Hooper's overhead. He is at the peak of his career and one of the very best midfielders in this division.

He has scored 6 in each of the last two seasons. For a midfielder that is outstanding.Especially as scoring is only one string to his very impressive bow. bladeshater
Shooting is his weakness if he adds it to his game we have a £10 million centre mid
McRightSide
I don't actually think shooting is a problem for him. He's an excellent finisher I think it's that more often than not that he plays the percentages. Rather than take a pot shot he'll look to provide someone else with a clear chance. Very, very intelligent player
