Help me remember this player...

Recommended Posts

About three years ago, maybe four.

We played Burnley in the first home game.

We played a lad at left back I think. He got ripped apart for both of their goals. Looked totally lost and Burnley saw it and exploited it. Don't think he played another game.

Who was it?

Kirkland, Gardner, Floro (Maguire 45), Zayette, Palmer, Helan, Prutton, Semedo, Maghoma (Lavery 82), Antonio, Nuhiu.

Subs not used: Taylor, Davies, McCabe, Llera, Corry.

That was the team that day.

We lost 2-1.

Floro subbed for Maguire at HT, it was definitely him.

lol

Thanks Aero.

What?  We played a Championship game with Floro, Zayatte, Helan, Semedo and Maghoma in the side?  And we lost?

Will never complain about the current team again, Antonio and the ever unfortunate Gardner aside that team makes for painful reading

Seem to remember we were 2-0 down at half time.  Chris Maguire came on and played brilliantly.  He pulled one back and also went close a couple of times, to getting an equaliser.

That's all I remember.

You're all right apart from you're mixing up Maguire scoring and going close to Prutton.

Apart from that- we were fine.     Battered em second half         :-)

We used to love that

Don't worry lads, when they get a comfortable lead and take the foot off the gas, we'll suddenly look half decent, for a bit

As poor as that lineup is, it'd batter the side we were putting out in the same division in 2002 or 2003.

Imagine Antonio running at Craig Armstrong,  and Semedo would make Steve Haslam cry.

Was just thinking that!
