Lionel Fessi Posted September 2, 2016 Share Posted September 2, 2016 Would like to see us going really attacking for this, one of the weaker sides that will come to S6 this season IMO, so maybe we can resort back to Bannan/Lee in the centre? Westwood Palmer Hutchinson Lees Pudil Fessi Bannan Lee Reach Fletcher Joao Palmer deserves to keep his place, solid vs Brentford why change it up. Likewise with Joao, solid vs Brentford needs his chance, looks much better with Fletcher along side him and brings much needed pace. Risking it by playing Fessi RM and Bannan/Lee in the centre, but to be honest we shouldn't struggle at home if they find there form again, not sure if Reach is fit enough for 90mins but would like to see him come straight in due to over crisis at LM. Maybe change it up later and see Fessi play behind Joao with Reach/Wallace outwide, would be nice to see how we benefit with 2 excellent crossers from either side now! So for me time to go back to basics, to what Fletcher probably got brought up on. Two wide men to stretch the Wigan midfield and pace down the right in Buckley. No cutting in, commit the full back and get beyond him, make the Wigan centre backs have to defend facing their own goal with two very good centre forwards bearing down on them. Joao for threat of pace down the middle to stop Wigan pushing the CB's toward halfway. Fletch and Joao need a 15 yard bit of bungee tying between them for the week. When one goes for a p**s the other does. Fletch needs to go for little jogs across a busy road. Everytime a car is coming, Joao will have to move his backside to close the gap and not get run over. By the end of next week, he will understand what it is to have a strike partner and not to venture too far away from him. I agree in essence with what Costello 77 said, time for FF to know that he has competition for his place and it wasn't some chump we brought in, it was the club record signing (?) and he's gonna have to earn the shirt. Reach will probably only last 70 mins at most because I don't think he's had much game time. If I was the Wigan RB, last thing I would want then would be FF coming on and going the other way and giving me a hernia.
