sonofbert2
I'd have brought Nuhiu on for both Wallace and Hunt.
TAOWL267
Exactly. The team carries more of a goal threat when he's in the side. Better than Hooper or Fletcher. Hooper and Fletcher haven't been prolific in years and don't hold the ball up like Nihiu.

He's bound to ping a hammy sooner rather than later trust me.
darra
think it was one of the Villa players on Sky said last week that it's taking some getting used to the fact that you dont get as much off refs in the Championship

Wouldnt surprise me, first time ive seen him play for us today to be fair and like I said... Wasn't impressed at all Nuhiu still has a lot to offer for me,obviously he's just one of them players that Wednesday fans love to hate but I've rarely seen him have as little impact in a game like Fletcher did today
Jowl
Fletcher was our best player today. He should have given a but more out but won loads up front. Would still have liked to see Nuhiu bully the centre backs though.
Guest
Disagree, nowhere near enough of a physical presence for me on his arse looking for a foul a few too many times for my liking aswell

Guest Deleted member
Nuhiu would have given our forwards and attacking midfield all the space they needed to make some of the pressure pay That's what he does Such an important player

coopswfc76
Well this thread has taken a bizarre turn, Fletcher held it up and won headers exactly what we want him to do. Fletch, Fessi, Lee, Lees & Hutch played ok but Hunt, Pudil, Bannan(again), Wallace(again) & Hooper were poor.
mrrodge
Carlos picked a squad of players that Nuhiu wasn't good enough to get into today. The players that did play should have done better. Take someone out of the team and suddenly they are the answer to all problems

I wonder how long you're going to be banging the Hooper drum I was saying in matchday chat today, we have one of the most prolific goalscorers the Championship has ever seen... and he can't score for us. 4 in his last 14, and he does very little else when he doesn't score. No doubt he'll score once he gets match fit, but as I said almost a month ago now, I don't expect that to be until the end of September.
