3rd series of Snowfall started last night on BBC2, been quite good so far.

Never heard of this before I saw your post.

Strange that it's 3 seasons in before I'm aware of it! :duntmatter:

Started it last night.

2 episodes in, I think it's got potential.

The Missus decided it was cràp... even though she can't have seen more than a few minutes here and there, glancing up from her tablet!

So, I'll be watching this one on my own.

We've finished it now.

One of those stories that probably worked much better as a book.

Still, it wasn't bad.

What did you think to how Wisting played out?

It was interestingly paced with the two stories merging into one but I really liked it. The acting was excellent throughout as well.

Finished Bloodline on Netflix.

Generally a good well written story (if a bit far-fetched at times), nicely produced and acted, a little slow in places

Season 1 - starts slow, lots of American family shmoltz but then has a twist which makes things interesting

Season 2 - more twists, very good. Keeps you hooked

Season 3 - still hooked to about Ep7, then it starts to trail off and returns to American shmoltz.

Overall 7/10

This was a missed opportunity, IMO, to have given us something more memorable.

Agree it was excellent.

Like the way they broke it down, with the 2 story threads.

Sometime these things can drag, and the and the twists and turns seem forced, to prolong the story.

This is based on books isn't it?

Not sure if that was one book or two?

Hope they make more. Really good cast and characters.

I had a look online and it's based on two books. Might have to check them out.

Yes, thought the way they layered it made the twists work well. There were a couple of times I expected it to go in a completely different direction. Hopefully they can do another series.

This Life

Old 90’s series about a group of twenty somethings and everything that comes with it - drink, drugs, sex and all that. Launched the careers of many including Andrew Lincoln

Currently being repeated on BBC4

Hopeful they re run “Our Friends in the North” as well soon , loved that

Just watched Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets.

It's on Now TV.

Really enjoyed it.

Love Pulp anyway which helps...

Some great characters interviewed around Sheffield.

Watch it.

Whitehouse Farm is brilliant, I think it's on ITV.

Was about to say the same. Don't usually watch stuff like this but really enjoying it. How not to run a murder enquiry. Can decide if the DCI is incompetent or involved. Resisting googling to find out

It has also made me realise how Netflix has changed my watching habits as well!

Waiting a week for an episode is so frustrating. When the episodes end and I can't watch the next one wee wees me right off.
