Do we want FF to play again?

Recommended Posts

He's got to go for me.

let everyone down refusing to play. If his head has been turned or he wants more money, fair enough, but don't spit your dunmy out and refuse to play. If he had played, no one would have bat an eyelid, negotiations go on behind the scenes, and he gets a new deal, or we cash in the chips and move on.

If it is contract related and he wants more money, what's stopping the rest if the squad doing the same? Downing tools until they get their own way? How many points could it cost us over the course of the season? Arguably we would be 2 points better off if he played yesterday.

the damage is done as far as I'm concerned, pack his bags and get rid.

He needs to apologise and earn back everyone's respect.

Otherwise I hope we're in a healthy enough financial position let him rot in the reserves until January, when we slap a £15m price tag on him.

It matter not one jot what we think...it's what his team mates think that matters...they will be the ones talking to him in the forthcoming days and it's them he has to face if he goes to the training ground. It might be them that makes him rethink what he did

Very true. And let's not forget that those same team mates gave an excellent performance yesterday against one of the best, if not the best, team in the Championship. There's life after FF.

To all those saying that if he'd played yesterday we might have won, theres always the other side of the argument that if he'd played he might not have put in 100% and not tracked back like the rest of the team and norwich might have scored. Nobody seems to know exactly whats happened. If foristieri is suffering from some form of mental illness then he should get all the support he needs from the club, but it really seems like he's shown his true colours and that the club and fans and team mates mean nothing to him and all he cares about is lining his pockets with more money.

Carlos said exactly what the situation was last night didn't he?

Thats not the point. Of course money talks, and agents run players, but to refuse to play is a whole new level. What has this done to moral?

No way back IMO. It would ruin the team ethic which is so strong.

Don't disagree with any of that. Think first half had effected the players. If he stays, a big if, then he owes us and the players big time

It certainly seems that way. Thing is he's let himself down by effectively going on strike. Wherever he ends up, fans will be wary of idolising him and doubt he will ever have the same raport with fans as he had here

Dead right. I can't imagine how he ever thought this tactic would ever work.

He didn't do too bad against Villa when his toys were out if the pram...

Get rid asap he should never play for us again but we shouldn't (and I don't think we will) sell to a Championship rival.

Development squad until we agree a fee with a Prem or foreign club, even if it takes until January and even if it's less money.

For all those saying he should go, I assume you also applaud how the Club handled the DiCanio saga.

If Man U can go through this twice with Rooney and still keep him, I don't see why Fessi cannot get through this and remain an Owl.

Did Rooney ever refuse to play?

And he should have travelled with the squad to norwich. If he really wanted to leave he should have handed in a written transfer request. It would probably mean giving up any percentage of any transfer fee we receive but i think he has already just done that by refusing to play

Today feels a bit weird like your first girlfriend just dumped you and you thought you were getting married one day but no. Proper heart aching and you hear one of your mates say she might be going with someone else cos she liked him for quite a while and you pretend not to hear but then your heart sinks a bit and you are not sure what to think.

And the original question is a bit like a few weeks later there's a rumour that she still likes you and might ask to meet up and she sends you a text saying w2up2 and you just ignore it for a bit but you want to reply and you're not sure if you do want her back or not but you think you do but for saving face among your mates you probably don't and what will you do? You could get married one day or move on and regret things for the rest of your life but you'd never know.

So on that basis and in response to the original question I do not know the answer but my heart hurts.

1 like = one chance of FF playing

1 dislike = another team interested in FF

" A normal working man on normal working wages", turns up to work on Monday morning and decides that he cant do his job today because his head isnt in the right place,

Boss says , here you are lad, its your P45, theres the door.

Footballer on more a week than we see in 10 years, disrespects his manager, chairman, club, team mates, fans.

Its the fans that contribute to these primadonnas wages.

Time to say adios, and sign someone that wants to wear the shirt,

No one is bigger than the Massive! UTO

If footballers were "normal working men" we wouldn't pay vast amounts of money to watch them kick a leather airbag around, trying to somehow apply the "rules" of our lives with their lives is a bit pointless IMO.
