The 24 year old winger played in every league game for Accrington Stanley last season scoring 3 goals and getting 5 assists. Cambridge played a 4-5-1 formation in their 1-1 draw at home to Barnet on Saturday. Blair Adams drilled a low cross into the box from the left and Mingoia finished it. They had 11 shots in the match but only 2 were on target. The main man: Luke Berry. The central midfielder is vastly experienced despite being only 24 years old. He scored an impressive 12 goals in 46 games in league 2 last season. Part of the reason for this is that he is a set piece specialist. If he starts we should be careful not to give any free kicks away around the edge of the box. This man will bury them. As the season goes on I will probably work out which website is my favourite, but I tend to use a combination of them all at the moment. WhoScored probably edges it. Score: 2-1. Scorers: Lucas Joao (52), Piero Mingoia (90) and Luke Berry (118). Worth noting that both Cambridge scorers tonight were players I picked out in my match preview. Good players. 19 shots for SWFC tonight, only 3 on target. Only made 2 clearances compared to Cambridge's 7. The stats are exactly the same for interceptions. Poor defensive performance. 12 fouls were committed, 8 higher than Cambridge's 4. Highest rated SWFC player: Will Buckley. Good dribbles completed and crossing stats. Lowest rated: Jeremy Helan. Jacob Murphy, Wes Hoolahan, Steven Naismith and Cameron Jerome were the scorers. Ivo Pinto got 2 assists along with Howson and Hoolahan who got 1 each. MOtM: Wes Hoolahan - 1 goal and 1 assist. 64 passes, 75% success rate. 3 interceptions, 0 tackles. Norwich had 12 shots vs Blackburn, with 7 of those on target. 67% of Norwich’s shots came through the middle, with the remaining 33% all from the right. They completed 568 passes, but made only 6 crosses. 482 passes were short, 77 long and 3 through balls. Jacob Murphy had more shots than any other Norwich player with 5 and 3 of those were on target. They had 58.3% possession, and Steven Naismith had 8% of that. Nobody completed more dribbles than Steven Naismith who completed 2. Ivo Pinto won only 33% of his aerial battles, despite being 6 feet tall. On the other hand, Ryan Bennett had a 100% success rate in the air vs Blackburn. Thanks mate. 12% of 17 means two shots from the right. Im even surprised by that. Beggared if I can remember any shots from there. FF shhots from the left or cutting in from left onto his right foot.
