TAOWL267
Love this debate. Really brings home the divisions between those who will put up with anything Chansiri does just for a bit of improvement on the pitch and those who are concerned about the future direction of the club.
wilfsmith
Just wondered if anyone had revised their opinions of our leader three and a half years on.

Yet Newcastle has had far greater investment, lower ticket prices, kept its stripes and badge and attracts excellent players and a world renowned manager. Any comments? Renowned manager! They got rid of a Benitez FFS
David1867
I'd have Mike Ashley in a heartbeat.

Yes but he still runs Newcastle like a business. Sells players when they are worth money and invests when he needs too. Chansiri gambled and has failed miserably. Chansiri has transformed our club and we are light years ahead of where we have come from. Are we actually "light years" ahead of where we've come from? We've what to show for the millions spunked away by DC? A nice pitch and a new scoreboard? Fans can't live on the past heralds of 2 failed promotion charges, 1 meekly surrendered at Wembley and the other an abhorrent display at Hillsborough in the semi's .. We are in no better position then we were when we were flipping skint.

Sadly we aren in a worse state than when he bought us and that's criminal when you think he had a blank canvas to work from. How he has got this so wrong has to be down to sheer incompetence.
