Orlando_Trustful
Complete at anybody predicting a decent finish for Villa. They're a complete basket case and it looks like the prospective new owner is more of a Geoff Sheard than a Dejphon Chansiri. They'll finish bottom eight. The new owner has said he'll spend £50 million for them to get back up. If they make the right appointment and with that money to spend, they'll be up there no doubt. It's looking like he ain't got the proverbial pot.

matthefish2002
Think next season our fans will be a lot more demanding. Think most expecting play offs as the bare minimum. Any position lower then 6th and knifes will be out for Carlos. Edited June 1, 2016 by matthefish2002
trask43
Will be an interesting season if we start well top two is possible. The long season favors us over the big prem sides athough in a one of hull like match we can struggle and if we end up in the playoffs against the likes of newcastle or norwich Ive no doubt we'll fall again. The key to the season is just making sure we take points of the teams we are better than. The tuesday night games against rotherham and burton are the one where the 'prem' players often dont show up. boxing_day
It's far too early to make a call. We should be competing in the top 6 after this season but until the 31/8 we probably won't know our squad, or others. Newcastle on paper should walk it, player for player they should have been lower mid table in the prem this year. But who knows what they will look like at the start of the season? How will Rafa cope. Have they got the fight if it starts going boobies up. Norwich will be solid, but the I'd expect them to lose Redmond et al. Without them they are a good championship side. But who are they going to add? A solid side + Andre gray type works as we know. Villa, God knows. The new bloke is promising 40mil kitty. But serious questions around him, and what will happen to the existing lot. Di Mateo could be a great appointment if it happens. They remind me a lot of Wednesday in the year 2000 and the owner has a touch of the venkys about him. Brightons side is good with a few additions they and Derby (with Pearson) will be right up there. I'd expect Bristol to spend a bit of money now they are settled as well, as the owner is very wealthy. So after typing that I haven't a flipping clue. We need to add some quality to be right up there though, as on paper id say we are in 6th player for player.
