Alan Partridge

We're back, carefully opening the drawer marked 'your feedback', then saying 'Bloody hell':

Chocolate replicas, experiencing Alan live, (Bride of) Chucky Egg and Alan vs. Noel. Also: Why is Partridge like the Beatles? Is Alan genuinely protective of Lynn? Is Sidekick Simon the inspiration behind Denton Abbey? How could we get it so wrong on Alan's canine companions?

Episode 50? Your age.

Must get some more of these listened to, I downloaded them all like a bloody bloke but only listened to the first few. That's not a dirty protest on the standard of the podcasts, which I happen to think are very good. I mean they're not Gervais and Pilkington but they're certainly competitive.

I've been a bit rubbish posting on here about our episodes this series, but thought this one was special enough to post about! We had the one and only Stephen Mangan as a live special guest on series finale - recorded live at Kings Place, London as part of the London Podcast Festival.

We go behind the scenes on Partridge and talk being Dan Moody, improvisation and sex festivals. Plus: Hang-Ups, Green Wing, Episodes, and a secret prog-rock past

If you don't use iTunes, then we're available on all good and evil podcast providers. Link here: http://smarturl.it/MonkeyTennis.

Been working through these recently, listened to about the first ten. They've replaced R.E. O-Speedwagon as my commute listen of choice.

I've made a few notes. Content, ten on ten. Presenters, bingo. Minor criticism, stop getting Alan wrong - disturbing that four of you were debating Alan and Lynn's age and were still unable to decide how old they were or what the age difference is when series 1 clearly tells you "I'm not old I'm 43 ya cheeky git" and "my tireless PA Lynn, 50". I may want to work that out for myself but I want it to be my decision. But I'm nitpicking, overall a very good effort, seven on ten. Let's make love.

PREVIEWING THIS TIME WITH ALAN PARTRIDGE

He's off to the BBC! Ahead of the return of Alan in his first TV series since Monkey Tennis began, we discuss what we know, what we suspect and what we're hoping for from all-new Alan. Who's back? Who's died? What's Lynn's involvement? Will there be cameos? Plus: We play Predict-a-Partridge and detail how we'll be bringing you extra This Time chat alongside the Beeb.
