markg
Outstanding last night and has been for a good few weeks now. Think we underestimate how important he is to our team. Could be a legend if he lifts the trophy in a couple of weeks.

Beholder
Our turn around in the Championship stems back to him being signed. The manager who brought him in got the chop days after but Loovens really helped turn it around that season. Ibbo48
I agree totally. However, if you'd been on the OMDT before half time last night you'd have found a few who certainly wouldn't agree with you.
OxonOwl
He is what makes Tom Lees great rather than just very good
SalisburyOwl
Interest that nobody has mentioned that he picked up his 5th booking last night. Does that mean he's banned for the final or doesn't it count? He was immense last night and would be a big miss if he were banned
Ian Hess Sports
Outstanding again last night. Got so many big toes in to stop Brighton. Not underestimated by me , he is pivotal. I personally wrote him off at the start of this season, I think he's had a renaissance and been a key figure, proving doubters wrong. However if we reach the Premier League, or are to challenge for an automatic, a more dominant centre half will be needed IMO, to play alongside Lees. Ian Hess Sports
So what you're saying is you still writing him off... I definately think we need a centre half that more dominant in the air. Carlos tried it with Turner, but injuries & form prevented it working. Having a 5,9 Lee on the front post, no dominant Centre forward or Centre half in our box, very nearly cost us. Some superb saves and herioc blocks, last night, but we need to prevent having to do that.

Guest BRADFIELDOWLS
Yes, we need a Huth -type stopper to support Lees for Premiership next season. Plus, a destroyer in midfield, ace on the wing and a real class centre forward. CAN'T WAIT.

The manager who brought him in got the chop days after but Loovens really helped turn it around that season. I was only thinking the same the other day. As good or as important a signing as any made by the club in the last 5 years. Edited May 17, 2016 by Great Big Galaa
