If the roles were reversed...

So if roles were reversed...

...and if we were going into our home game with 2 first teamers banned and 4 first teamers injured, would you fancy us to get a result?

I don't think so? That is the position Brighton are in.

I do not think that Brighton's squad is as deep as ours so I really think they are going to struggle to be up for Monday.

Fitness wise, the quick turnaround really suits us and Carlos's rotation policy which has kept our squad fit.

I'll still be nervous as a kitten until we score though, but all hail Carlos!

According to talksport last night we've got a nightmare lead and Loads of teams have stacked it after being 2 up. Happens all the time, look at how Liverpool come back and Leicester and blah blah blah.

We are in the box seat, whatever that means. Summat rude I hope. If we end up losing out Brighton will have deserved it.

Last 20 minutes we coasted, and extra goal or two would have been great but it looked more a case of we will take what we have and will not over exert ourselves, keeping fresh for a game two days later.

We do have to stop giving away stupid freekicks though. All season we have seen the opposites facing away from our goal and one of our players had tried knicking the ball from behind and given away a freekick.

Played Brighton 3 times and not conceded a goal. They need 3 and to hope we don't score. By no means do I think it's done and dusted but I am more than happy to be taking a two goal lead to Brighton but let's be professional and go and play the same as we did last night.

No team in the history of the Championship playoffs have overturned a 2-0 deficit before...

Biggest thing for me is Knockaert. That looked very nasty injury and only 2 1/2 days to recover from it. I have a feeling quite a few of their big players will be having injections to try get them to play...

I'd be hoping that we could nick a goal and put the pressure on, in the sense that there wouldn't be much to lose. But I wouldn't hold much hope.

No doubt it is ours to lose, the question is whether we can handle that

I would say the way our lads were joking about on the pitch last night (FF, RW and GH) they seemed pretty relaxed.

I'm not so confident. If the roles were reversed would we be capable of scoring two at home with a full house behind us and nothing to lose?

Any team in the play offs could score two at home, bear in mind that we haven't been that great away from home. I think it will come down to whether we can hold our nerves.....or whether we can score ourselves.

Taking the blue and white glasses off..

They have to score in the first half. If they do, and get some momentum, it'll be difficult for us.

That said, we are so much better on the counter. They have injuries to key players, we have everyone available. if they don't score in the first half, they will be under huge pressure early 2nd half, and they'll leave gaps everywhere.

I hope they play Bruno centre back. He was causing all sorts of issues for us at right back.
