On my phone so haven't read anyone else's comments but my understanding of the rules is that there is no requirement for there to be a touch by Hooper for that goal to stand. The offside rules I am aware of relate to phases of play, and unless the rules state something specifically about touching the ball when changing phases of play then there's no way that should be called offside. I hope I'm wrong, but that looked like a referee and linesman who have not just made a mistake but also misinterpreted the rules, which would obviously be quite serious problem...

I didn't think you can be offside if you receive the ball directly from a goal kick...

 

I know you cant be offside from a throw in.
