Holmowl
Unheard of and unwanted manager. 17th after 6 games. Edged up slowly slowly. Loaned and bought sheer class. Will we, won't we? And finally murdered our last remaining rival to put a huge gap between us and 7th. Wonderful wonderful 46 game season. Delighted to have extended it. I want more than anything to make the Prem, but if we miss out in the semi or the final I will consider this a fantastic season in the history of Sheffield Wednesday. Stoop
Said the same to my dad on the way out yesterday This season has been a success in my eyes regardless of what happens on the playoffs, I won't be gutted if we don't go up. Many clubs go sh*t or bust for promotion but I know we'll be even stronger next year

What they said. How good is it to be a Wednesdayite. We literally have nothing to lose from here on. If I was any other play off team, I wouldn't want to play us. Plus we had a cup run where we beat, and kept clean sheets, against two PL sides. Mental season
Guest domSWFC
No matter what happens, it's been amazing and a huge, huge step forward. But, I'm starting to dream. I can just see Wembley with a sea of blue and white. "We're Sheffield Wednesday, we're on our way back" bellowing around the ground, louder than anyone has ever made Wembley before. Of all the teams in the play offs, I think a trip to Hillsborough must be the one everyone wants to avoid. We've seen what a full Hillsborough can do. Even Arsenal trembled. Win lose or draw, that semi needs to be electric. Celebrate what a successful season we've witnessed and get behind them.

Oh it will be electric, I've never seen so much togetherness in the ground as I did yesterday, players, fans, coaching staff, chairman, all together, brilliant. NYCOWL
Burnley away was the interesting one. I thought after that he could be sacked but he then came out with a comment that now rings very true Lost a match, gained a team I think we've only lost 6 games since then. I watch that game and came away optimistic.I got slaughtered on here for it. Edited May 1, 2016 by NYCOWL
The Regulator
Oh it will be electric, I've never seen so much togetherness in the ground as I did yesterday, players, fans, coaching staff, chairman, all together, brilliant. Spot on. There was something about the place yesterday. Better than the Wycombe game in many respects. And if CC can inspire the fans in the way that he did, just think what what he must do for the players. They must love playing for him. Whilst the playoffs are a bonus, we are there on merit and we have a realistic chance. Can't wait!
Salmonbones
I am almost ashamed to say it, but I want to see what CC can do with good backing in a 2nd season in the championship, because I think we'd absolutely walk it. That is arrogant talk, I know - something we have not done ever. But I believe it. However, let's get up this first time now we know we are 3 games from the top flight. You take what opportunities you have, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this season. Edited May 1, 2016 by salmonbones
mike312
Been a brilliant season whatever happens. Only very very small whinge was the Shrewsbury defeat but I'm being picky. I'm excited to see, if we don't go up who we will sign. Good time to be an owl.
rawowl
Burnley away was the interesting one. I thought after that he could be sacked but he then came out with a comment that now rings very true Lost a match, gained a team I think we've only lost 6 games since then. Michael Vaughan was calling for his head after that game and wanting Nigel Pearson in. He's been up Carlos Arse since the Arsenal game.
Ronnie Starling
Far exceeded my expectations. I was thinking a top 10 finish was good progress. I would love us to go up but if we don't we have progressed tremendously and look forward to bettering it next season.

Aston on Trent Owl
Promotion isn't what will define this season. We revelled in the unity that Stuart Gray brought to our club last season. The football wasnt great but the spirit and togetherness got us to our highest positon in years. Carlos has taken it to anorther level. Spirit, togetherness, skill, drive, quality of players we have not seen in 20 years. Chansiri had a plan for promotion next season, and we all dreamed it could happen. Its here early. We are a country mile better than our closest challengers. Lets enjoy the play offs, we have nothing to lose, and what will be will be. Rest assured, no one will want to face us. I live near and work in Derby, and they do not want to face us at Wembley. Whatever happens, it's been a great season.
1867owl
Yeah no question it's been a fantastic season regardless of what happens now. I actually don't fancy us to go up myself, just don't think we're quite there yet, but what a f*cking season nonetheless. He's done such a good job and it's been an absolute pleasure. It's been exactly according to his remit too with the excellent football we've played. Well done to all.
